Laurie Dojeiji is the Program Manager for the Champlain Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Network (CCPN), a multi-sector partnership of organizations that is housed at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and working collaboratively to reduce heart disease and stroke among Champlain area residents. Laurie has been with the CCPN for over 10 years, working predominantly on fostering healthy and supportive environments - initially in schools, and more recently in hospital settings - as an enabler for increasing healthy behaviours such as physical activity and healthy eating.
